1. Bali Day One
2. Bali Day Two
3. Bali Day Three
As some of you may have realised the layout of this blog has changed slightly! As I was moving things over to the new layout, I realised this post has yet to see the light of day! I then also realised that I don't remember the flavours of the dishes we had! =( Anyway, below are the photos of the dishes we had and from what I can remember, the photos don't do them justice.
Amuse-bouche (Complimentary) |
Bread Basket (Complimentary) |
It's free and it's a bread basket, can't find any fault with that!
Soft Shell Crab salad (Rp. 110.000) |
Beef Tournedos (Rp. 360,000) |
Scallops and mushroom ravioli (Rp. 320,000) |
One dish that left a more lasting good impression on me was their scallops and mushroom ravioli. As you can see from the photo, the ravioli was filled with mushroom and the scallops was beautifully presented on the dish. I have to say, the pasta was cooked perfectly and very tasty, the scallops were also cooked very well!
One thing I do remember about our dinner was the faultless service. In Bali, in the fancier restaurants the maitre'd will usually greet guests in English, I felt pretentious speaking English when I'm fluent in Indonesian, but I went with the flow and just really enjoyed the dinner. I do have to say, they do give better service to foreigners than the natives!
I would highly recommend Sardine for special occasions or for a romantic dinner. Also, reserving a table is essential to get good seats!
